Let’s walk together again! Join us on Saturday, July 11, as we walk along the San Antonio River. This month we are walking between Mission Concepción and Mission San José. As you celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, walk in appreciation for the women and men who serve our country, remember the rich heritage of our missions woven into the fabric of our country, and rejoice in the beauty of the natural world that surrounds us. Along our journey of reflection, prayer, and celebration, we are reminded that faith calls us not only to appreciate God’s blessings but also to share them with others. In that spirit, we invite each pilgrim to bring a canned good to support a local food pantry, extending Christ’s love and care to our neighbors in need. Come walk with us!.

• Check begins at 6:00 am at the Padre Margil Pilgrimage Center, 263 Felisa Street, San Antonio, TX 78210.
• Walk begins at 6:30 am.
• Please park in the Mission Concepcion parking lot. Parking is free.
• This will be a one way walk to Mission San Josel along the San Antonio River. Pilgrims can choose to walk back, take public transportation (Via Bus Route #42), or secure a rideshare.
• Total walking time is about 1 hour 15 minutes.
• Distance: 4 miles one way
• Please bring a refillable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
