Event Details

FREE and open to children ages 6-12. Parents are welcome. This event includes a guided exploration of Mission Concepción, a World Heritage Site founded in the 1700’s. Learn of the original people who dug and carved the stone and painted art. Enjoy creating visual art, sculpture, songs, drama, dance, poetry, or spoken word.

On the Charter for Compassion website, in over a hundred languages, youth are invited to create. Those who wish, with parents’ permission, can have their creations shared by uploading onto the website.

Expressing, connecting, healing, bringing beauty and joy globally . . .

the ARTISTIC BRIDGES project is part of the Charter for Compassion and the Children’s Charter. A class or group of young people might have a whole “exhibit,” that is a digital book showcasing their work.

  • Participate in the ARTISTIC BRIDGES project.
  • Snacks and art supplies provided. If youth play a musical instrument, they are welcome to bring that.
