As the sun rises on our third and final Sunrise Camino of the summer season, journey with us in faith and community along the San Antonio River. This month we are walking from Mission Concepcion to San Fernando Cathedral.

Pilgrimage reminds us that life is not meant to be walked alone. When we walk together, we encounter Christ in one another, deepen our trust in God, and discover His presence in the beauty of creation.

We are grateful to everyone who has joined us throughout June and July. Whether you are a first time Camino walker or a seasoned pilgrim with many miles under your feet, we’re so glad we all can celebrate the gift of faith, fellowship, and community. May this walk renew your spirit and send you forth with joyful hearts.

• Check begins at 6:00 am at the Padre Margil Pilgrimage Center, 263 Felisa Street, San Antonio, TX 78210.
• Walk begins at 6:30 am.
• Please park in the Mission Concepcion parking lot. Parking is free.
• This will be a one way walk to San Fernando Cathedral along the San Antonio River. Pilgrims can choose to walk back, take public transportation (Via Bus Route #42), or secure a rideshare.
• Total walking time is about 1 hour 15 minutes.
• Distance: 4 miles one way
• Please bring a refillable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
