May Community Camino

Join us Saturday, May 9th for our Community Camino.

Join us on May 9 as we walk from Mission Concepción to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, taking in a quieter, more urban side of San Antonio along the way. This new route follows the San Pedro Creek Greenway and Alazán Creek Trail, offering a different kind of beauty shaped by the city around us. It’s a chance to step outside, walk together, and experience the Camino in a new way. Upon arrival, pilgrims are welcome to attend the noon Mass with special intentions for those on the journey.

• Check in at 8:45 am at the Padre Margil Pilgrimage Center, 263 Felisa Street, San Antonio, TX 78210.
• Walk begins at 9:15 am
• Prayer time in the Mission Concepcion begins at 9am.
• Please park in the Mission Concepcion parking lot. Parking is free.
• This will be a one way walk to Little Flower Basilica. Pilgrims can choose to walk back, take public transportation, or secure a rideshare.
• Total walking time is about 2 hours..
• Distance: 6 miles one way
• Please bring a refillable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
